Lord Sri Murugan

Lord Sri Murugan is the 2nd son of the Divine Couple, Lord Siva and Devi Sri Parvathi, and the younger brother of Lord Sri Ganesha. He is also known as Kumara, Shanmukha, Subramanya, Skandha, and many other Sanskrit names. Lord Sri Murugan is an embodiment of perfection. He is the God of war and the brave leader of God’s forces, created to destroy the demons which represent the negative tendencies in all of us. Lord Sri Murugan tends to the spiritual growth of aspirants, having the fire and the energy to lead the army towards moksha. He takes care of health, family life, healthy children, and assets such as land, etc. Fire and Mars are related to Lord Sri Murugan.

Those who are suffering from the afflictions of Raahu, Ketu, Kaala Sarpa Dhosham (when planets sit between Raahu and Ketu in one's Vedic birth chart), and Sarpa Shaapa (the curse of the snake) should worship Lord Sri Murugan.
