The Significance of Sri Arudra Darshanam
Aarudhra Darshanam is the day when Lord Siva manifested Himself in His Cosmic dance form as Lord Sri Nataraja (Nata=dance, Raja=King) depicting the continuous cycle of creation and dissolution. This is the day on which Lord Siva enacted the cosmic dance for the benefit of His ardent devotees Pathanjali (Aadhisesha) and the Rishi Vyagrapadha and thus to all devotees. Lord Sri Maha Vishnu Himself leaves His abode in Vaikunta to witness the dance of Siva on Aarudra Darshanam.
