Dear Devotees,

We need more volunteers to serve Devotees and Divine Mother in various ways. There are many areas where one can volunteer and receive divine grace. Please sign up as to your area of Interest. The seva provides a unique opportunity to serve fellow devotees and participate devoutly in service aimed at the essence of fellowship. According to the scriptures, Divine grace can be obtained not only by worshiping the Divine Mother in the sanctum but also by serving Her devotees. Thus, at our Parashakthi Temple, the added benefit of receiving Divine Mother's blessings and grace is through selfless service to the Divine.

If we decide to volunteer with love, serve our Mother or care for her premises, not only the Divine Mother but all other Divine Embodiments will be around us all the time and make sure that we enjoy Blissful Life forever.

Volunteering is best form of community service and incorporating it in a your life makes a difference in your personality and Leadership Skills. As we all know, more number of devotees are being benefited through our Parashakthi temple and it is growing in a fast pace. At the same time, the temple board members are willing to share the golden opportunity for the Teens to serve our Divine Mother through various ways. The seva provides a unique opportunity to serve fellow devotees and participate devoutly in service aimed at the essence of fellowship. According to the scriptures, Divine grace can be obtained not only by worshiping the Divine Mother in the sanctum but also by serving Her devotees. Thus, at our Parashakthi Temple, the added benefit of receiving Divine Mother's blessings and grace is through selfless service to the Divine.

Teen Volunteer Program

Requirements For Teen Volunteers

Age:

Applicant must be at least 14 years of age by January 1st, 2021 to apply. Volunteers should have a genuine desire to learn new tasks and to be helpful in their assigned areas.

Application:

All prospective volunteers must complete and return an Application and other required paperwork to Temple Volunteer Team. Parent or Guardians signature is required. Submitting an application does not ensure a volunteer position in the program. An applicant's acceptance is based on personal qualifications and commitment given to the program.

Health:

A photocopy of health immunization records is required.

Additional Requirements if Accepted:

Attend a mandatory one-day orientation session.

Be willing to volunteer at least 2 shift a month at 3 hours per shift from July 1st through August 31st and during school year commit to one shift a month. Responsible for own transportation.
